After a bit of mustiness dissipated this presented as youthful, red fruited, slightly stewed English mulberries, charred meats, animale but predominantly limestone mineralite. Still somewhat tannic, but an enjoyable bott nonetheless.

Loose cork. Dark mature ruby. Nose initially of jelly crystals, after 10 minutes smoke, damp heathland, forest floor, complex spice, after an hour very gamy. Palate quite blank initially, then red fruits, charcuterie, smoky barbecued meats, heathland, limestone mineralite. Lighter end of medium bodied but still quite a bit of gentle tannin on the finish.

Very high fill - cork 5mm from wine. Cork protruding slightly, proximal 75% sodden. Deep ruby. Forest floor on the nose. Red fruited primary palate with a core of vinous sweetness and sapidity. Moderate complexity and length.

Dark red with brick hues. Still very red fruited and primary, pomegranate, licorice, jube and some meat. Moderately tannic still with quite vibrant acidity and decent length.
