For a Village a great success in this hot year. Goes preferable with dark meat (beef or venison). Taste is more tar than fruit and it is coming to a serious finish ( no heat- or alcohol notes ) Respect !

This wine is very characteristic of this hot vintage: it seems to be very ripe, with plums, roasted strawbery and raspberry, medium to full bodied, and some smoke/graphite/burnt wood on the finish. The only problem is that the finish is not very long, and that the tannins lack a little bit of elegance. Can be drunk from now to new+5 years

Half bottle, popped and poured. Youthful, bright ruby in the glass. Cherries, menthol, hazelnuts and a bit of funk on the nose, with cherries and faint strawberries on the palate. Juicy, with ripe acidity. Great QPR, this is a great bottle for Burgundy lovers on a budget.

My goodness, what a sweet drink for the money. This is a fabulous QPR at 30 bucks and a good example of an 03 Burg. The color, legs, nose, everything is wonderful. I can't believe this was only 30 dollars and now I wish I bought more than 6.

Oh, my. Simply outstanding. I'll be hooked on Burgundy for the rest of my life. My only regret is not having any more.
