Taurus Wines, UK, Winter wine tasting. Dark ruby colour. The nose is huge and shows ripe blackberries. On the palate, it's smooth and rich and slips down without any effort at all. If there weren't so many more wines to taste at this tasting, I could happily have carried on drinking this all night! It was great with a small piece of cheddar cheese.

Weekly tasting group RWP #253: Biological wines. (@ RK): The bouquet is not very expressive and shows some dark berries , herbs and rustic flavors. On the palate dark berries, vanilla and sweet spices. Good acidity and tannin with a good bite. Good length as well.

Velvety dark purple. Lovely seductive nose of plum and vanilla. Smooth on the palate, with sweet oak flavours noticeable but balanced by copious amounts of plummy fruit. The Petit Verdot element adds a distinctive green tang. Amazing VFM. 14.5%, screwcap.
