  • Bright red. there are some fresh red fruits and flowers but there is a dry black fruit dimension to the wine with some very firms tannins that give this a less quaffable feel. It does work well at the table and I think it may be a bit more enjoyable with a few years in the bottle. at $12.99, I am pretty happy with my purchase of 6 and look forward to seeing what the future brings!.

  • The fruit is every so slightly blacker, drier, and the tannins tougher, than the excellent 13, but it really is slight, and this vintage has it's own charms, with slightly better cut aided by those firmer tannins, and really good inner mouth complexity. As always, awesome value for money and a perfect everyday wine.
