  I have a built-in grenache-o-meter that seems to prevent me from enjoying grenache-based wines. I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that I will never really like them-almost like I lack the grenache-appreciation gene. So please take these comments with a grain of sel. Didn't know a thing about this wine. My neighbor dropped off a half-consumed bottle he couldn't finish. Palish-red, it has an intriguing nose of cherry cola and leather. The fruit is nasty, brutish, and short (no that's not fair, but I couldn't resist, sorry Hobbes), but it does seem like it's turned a bit. Honestly don't know if it's me or the wine.
