  Despite his 8 years of age a pretty young wine, dominated by intense cassis, herbal, spices and veggie notes. Difficult to judge where this will go, but a nice pairing with our beetroot and feta.

  Fantastic Barolo with vibrant notes of cherry, spices, tobacco, sous bois. Good and balanced sweetness on tha palate with charming and structured length. A joy!

  The nose was dark, showing crushed red berries, moist undergrowth, and spicy floral tones. On the palate, I found soft, polished textures which gave way to a dazzling display of black cherry fruit before being hammered down upon by saturating wood tannin. It finished structured and dry, leaving me to wonder if the fruit will ever reach out over the tannin.

  Vinitaly 2016; 4/10/2016-4/13/2016 (Verona, Italy): Ripe red fruit, leather, earthy, some balsamic notes, beautiful sweet oak, dense nose. The palate follows the nose, dense, tight still, nice fruit and concentration, long finish
