Light ruby color, some orange at the rim. The nose shows soft aromas of raspberry, spice, oak, and flowers. This is medium light bodied on the palate with decent concentration and good class. Very good style. The medium plus length finish features slightly rustic tannins.

Very translucent ruby in color, this wine reveals subtle aromas of clove, Asian spice and strawberry on the nose. The mouth feel is very light bodied and the subtle fruit struggles to come out. The finish is short and choppy and the relatively low 13.2% abv becomes noticeable with the minimal aromatics and acidity.
Purchased for $22US, this was a big disappointment. I love lighter style, low abv PN from Oregon and Burgundy. This was simply too lean for my palate. It reminded me of an entry level Bourgogne from an extremely cold year where the grapes struggled intensely to ripen.

Last bottle was almost exactly five moths ago and the wine has come together nicely in that time. Just barely medium bodied, but with good depth and improved balance and integration from my prior bottle. Red cherry and earth on the nose. Red cherry upfront with tart red cherry and cranberry behind and then integrated spices and earth notes on the finish. Overall flavor profile seemed similar to prior bottle, but this time, the various components seemed much more integrated as the wine transitioned much more smoothly from initial impressions, to mid-body to back palate to finish. Doesn't have the depth or complexity of Heart & Hands single vineyard bottlings, but is actually quite impressive for a Finger Lakes pinot at this price point.

Red cherry and earth on the nose. Medium bodied and showed good depth for a weaker vintage. 13.2% ABV, but no heat. Dark red cherry upfront with some hints of raspberry behind. Light spices and earth on the finish along with good tannins and acidity. Given the structure, this wine should benefit from some short term cellaring and should hold well for three years or so. It's not tremendously complex at this stage, but it's very well put together and given the weaker overall vintage, a solid effort.

Very light body, translucent color. Medium plus acid. Raspberries on the front of the tongue, nice spice, tea.
