Picked this up following the winery's library tasting event, and SO glad we did. Visually it's starting to head to the tawny appearance, noting its age. Deep aromas of dried herbs, forest floor, potting soil, old leather, stewed black cherries. Palate flavor is more fruit forward - spiced cherry and cranberry compote, hint of tobacco leaf, potpourri. This has to one of the best aged reds we've tasted from the Finger Lakes, a premier example of the potential of the region, and especially for its highly underappreciated reds. The depth and nuance of flavor is really impressive. Can't go wrong with Heart & Hands Pinot.

Best Pinot Noir I've had from this up and coming Finger Lakes property. Light in color, this well balanced wine exhibits great acidity and adequate fruit. Drink now for it's youthful exuberance. Check out this winery when you visit the Finger Lakes of New York.

Popped and poured. Ceramic(?) stopper. Rich red berry fruit aroma with some tart notes. Transparent, mineral red fruit flavors. Hints of tangerine in the full, tart finish. Pretty, delicate, some complexity. Great QPR.
