  Drank over 2 dsys. On day 1 quite plummy, on day 2 the plummy taste had vanished, but the wine appeared a bit hard and dry and in need of food. Overall a very nice and enjoyable wine. Bit of variation in the bottles. Recommend to drink up in the coming 1-2 years.

  Indeed this wine changed character after being open for 1,5-2 hours. First it appeared a bit plummy abd sweet. Then it turned more fresh and fruity. Went very well with food. In a good drinking spot, this should be drunk over the coming 1-2 years.

  Upside surprise, as more recent vintages have not impressed. Warm and sweet aromatics of red cherry, red plum, dried herbs, dusty leather, field flowers and cedar. Medium palate with concentrated flavors of cherry, plum and cedar. Spicy tannins round out the finish. Benefited from aging. Freshest in first hour, but (of course, it's Italian!) went well with food. Very good.
