Yellow peach colour - nose a little reticent - enjoyable and fresh palate . I am coming increasingly to think that this wine improves no end with some bottle age- a 2010 was outstanding last year - this seemed very young in comparison.

This is delicious; crisp, linear, and full of energy; lime and lemon, oyster shell, a hint of almond, and orange pith; the palate is bristling with energy and just rips across the palate; but it is delicious and paired with seafood saffron risotto it is excellent.a

Punchy and jolly wine that throws some concentrated apricots along with plenty of citrus and a background herbaceousness that gives everything nicely balanced structure. Fine acid, but there is a flatness that appears on the back palate. Good with salads.

We liked this enough when first tasted 10/16 that we purchased a case, continue to find it a very pleasant casual drinker, and have made a serious dent in said case. We understand that the producer makes an additional three styles of Albariño, although more expensive. For fun, we are going to try them.

The few community notes are love/hate. I'm squarely on the side of love. Chock full of smokey fruit and plenty of unctuous texture in the mouth. Nice finish. Don't over chill!
