  • Drank at a Mike and Molly's during game one of world series. Offputting nose of turpentine and prunes. But then flavors are good. Deep dark fruits. Fairly simple, but there's richness here, especially for the price. Points off for pruniness and a little heavy handed but pretty good pinot for $25. Melville Verna's 2004 is better balanced, prettier, better made wine at this price point.

  • Medium ruby hued wine with nose of dusty strawberry and hint of watermelon. This wine displays lots of fresh delicious fruit and vibrant acidity.Nice generous burst of rich mouthfilling fruit up front, with flavors of strawberry, red raspberry, cherry, exotic spiciness and some earthiness in the background. Nice round, slightly "hot" 20-30 second finish. An overall outstanding Pinot Noir.
