A total paradox. From the bottle, tight, clean, lean, and unspectacular. 2 hours later, with dinner, tight clean but broader, slightly more open, a decent food wine, around 90 points. 2 days later, from the fridge and warmed up to 18 degrees drinking temp... lovely! A butterfly from a caterpillar. Plush, ripe, generous, round... dark fruits, black cherries predominantly, tang, fun, funk, and an exciting future. My fault for opening her way too young.

Big ripe black cherry fruit. Kinda unexpected for Marsannay, and not in a bad way. With some earthy, animal funk. Lots of clean power across the palate. Ex[ensive at $50 but it does work it out.

A Burgundy night at the hipster quarter (Nobbi Müller Burgunder& Süßweine, Hamburg): Sweet red berry nose, young but quite harmonic, some ripe cherry, spicy midweight bottle, ending long and elegant, good+ wine, for the next 5-10 years, *(*-**), 86- 89
