Not my preferred style, as I like my Syrah more savory, but viva-la-difference eh? Others enjoyed it more. Decanted, filtered, aerated and it did improve (for my palate) in 30+ minutes. 14.8 ALC

Tremendous bottle of wine. Should have opened it a little earlier but it was great right after opening. Nice spice, beautiful bouquet. Wish I could learn wine speak, there was so much going on. I can't wait to save a couple of these for 5-10 years too.

Opened this as my March selection for Sean Sullivan's Washington Syrah 2021 Challenge. Great bottle of wine, and still just a baby. Ample tannin, nice acidity, fruit emerging after some airtime. Boysenberry, tar, espresso, pepper, grilled beef. This one is definitely more on the savory side of the variety. Drink now - 2034.

Nice black fruit with savory edges. Good acidity, tannic structure that's well integrated - nice. Definitely new world, but not jammy or too sweet.
