  Perfect pairing with wild chanterelle risotto. The color showed some age, but the fruit was still vibrant and rich. Last bottle of six, all were well-enjoyed!

I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. I considered this notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.

  Best bottle yet, and my last of this vintage. Rich fruit, crisp minerality, everything in balance, glycerin mouth feel, long finish. So good!
