Community Tasting Notes (3) Avg Score: 90.8 points

  • Note: I use the recommended scale, so 85 represents a very good wine.

As suggested by the score, an outstanding bottle of wine.
Other than what is written in my TN from 12 years ago, I cannot recall this bottle.
Nevertheless, what I said then still holds and then some.
A delight to drink. Firm acidity, but sharp or off-putting.
    My last of two.

Drink up. I cannot imagine improvement in the future, although who knows?

  • Lean and crisp. Not necessarily my most preferred style of white Burgundy (I prefer a bit more butter), but a very nice bottle. Enough fruit to meet the acid. Seemed to mellow a bit through the bottle (about an hour or so). I have another, and although I have no reason to think that some type of dramatic change will occur with a few more years, I will probably let it sit for a bit just to see. Served between cellar and fridge temperature and I let it warm a bit in the glass.
