Second time of tasting, this is such great value for money in the over heated contemporary Burgundy market. This was directly from the estate via the local importer. If tasted blind this could be a Corton-Charlemagne.

This is such a dark horse and great value if you can find the older vintages. Well stored bottles, (this was from the Château via their local importer,) age so well. The wine is packed with pear, melon, and lemon and is aromatic with a beautifully rounded palate. The finish is good but is a little unbalanced. 92+

So much better than a couple years ago. This has fleshed out nicely and is now drinking beautifully. Ripe pear, apricot, nectarine, and some melon. Judicious use of wood. Very solid wine.

Lovely lemony wax on the nose, no hint of oak or wood after seven years. Beautiful straw yellow color in the glass. On the palate, I got a waxy lanolin taste with hints of lemon citrus, lovely acid and tension on the medium finish. My first white burgundy from Savigny, good for $38 but not great.

This is drinking very nice tonight. Crisp pear and stone fruit, citrus, mineral. Love the acid here, nearly chablisiene.
