The most popular Petite Sirah at our Que Syrah, Shiraz and Sirah Tasting. The fruit has mellowed from earlier leaving a more complex wine, though still quite fruit forward.

Right or wrong, this is my benchmark for Petit Sirahs. Rich in berries, cocoa, cassis, dark fruit, with just enough earthiness to keep it intereresting. I've had this with everything from nothing (just drinkin') to steaks, to lamb, to dark chocolate. A big red with flexibility and a chameleon-like quality to pair with just about anything suited for reds.

The world needs more wines like this dark berry, thick, rich, masterpiece. So sad it's gone.

Fruit bomb. My benchmark for petite sirah so far. Squid ink color and tons of chocolate and dark berries. Gives you purple teeth for hours.
