Consistent with prior note, in this case gave 45m of air, which does not seem to have altered the wine noticebly.
Aromas of Plum, blueberry, cedar, vanilla, and pepper. Tastes of red fruit which transform to baked blueberry in the mid-palate and finish. Racy acid, structured tannins, medium+ finish. Not nearly as concentrated or jammy as my recollection from the last bottle and, as such, more enjoyable.
Between Medium Purple and Medium Ruby in color. A blend of 90% Shiraz and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, opens with medium intensity aromas of red fruit, pepper and oak, with a hint of vanilla. Red fruit on the palette, with a surprising hit of baked blueberries in the mid-palette and pepper through the Medium finish. Fresh acid and structured tannins in a Medium-to-Full body that is maybe a little too much on the side of being jammy. This is a concentrated and fruity wine, easy-drinking and uncomplicated.
