This Garnacha and Tempranillo blend has a robust feel to it for a value wine. With stainless steel fermentation and spending four months in barrel for some maturing, the wine retains the fruit forward aroma and flavor for ready drinking and enough tannins to allow for a few years of aging. We didn't decant (should have) and the wine opened up more later that evening and the next.
This was a purchase in my recent value wine search where I am looking for wines under $20 that are drinkable now and will improve over the next few years. I plan on picking more up and laying them down until 2020-2022.

PnP, with aromas and flavors of black raspberry, olive, tar, and vacuum dust. A tad lean mid-palate, with judicious oak carrying through to the medium finish. Good QPR.

Nasty, manufactured, bitter. Drank like a $5 wine. Threw it away.
