Blind Night (Dale): Dark purple color. Spicy aromas blackberry and black cherry. Tastes of blackberry, earth, Herbs de Provence, violet, and anise. Ripe fruit forward mid palate. Good freshness and acidity. Chewy finish.

Blind Night (Kevin): My guess was Bordeaux blend. Dark garnet color. Nose of mature blackberry and current. Tastes of black cherry, earth, clove, cedar, plumb, graphite, and raspberry. A bit herbaceous but in a good way. Well balanced. Chewy green tannin. Complex finish. A much better showing this time around for me. 13.6% alcohol. Brought by Jock.

double blind. i guessed a mid nineties right bank. there were some dry tannins, but this was a pleasant surprise despite a bell pepper note. a well stored bottle with the fruit holding, but no upside to cellar at this point. drink.
