Dinner N2 Linda – Very deep, dark and subdued at first. After an hour or so in the glass it showed more charms – bitter chocolate, earth, dark dark cherry. Lovely food wine. Intense, wait a bit.

Cyn dinner for Rob and gang -- Showing absolutely great, as interesting and complex of a Dolcetto as you will ever try. Deep and brooding, somewhat closed, but it revealed charms later on. Dark tarry inky fruit with great balance and food friendliness.

i've been through 4 or 5 of these with uneven results, but the good ones are delightful and this was one of them. purple, juicy, chewy, tooth staining dolcetto. rustic, but with lovely purity- showed hints of violet and fennel, but mostly just good, earthy fruit...exactly what I look for in Dolcetto.

This is really very nice. Definitely very dry and with rustic, stern structure underneath the fruit. I can even see this hold for 3 years or so and improve slightly during that time. Has a really long finish and shows off the cherry fruit and leather and coffee notes that I associate with Dolcetto. Great match with italian fennel salsicce and orechiette with dried tomato pesto. I recommend this Dolcetoo highly for fans of the more traditional Piedmont wines.
