  • Popped and decanted and let swirl for a little while before tasting. Room smells of cooking though so tasting note a little challenging.

Wine is a light bright crimson. Can see all the way through it.

On nose, the Tanzer tasting note nailed it. There's red fruit on the surface with a mineral and oak undertone.

On the palate, the wine is sound, with red fruit forward, low tannin, low alcohol, rose, a tiny touch of mineral, a long finish, and good acid.

This wine will probably age nicely. I think we're having it a bit early. It's light and elegant. But I have to say I'm not totally convinced that I should run out and buy a case of it, especially at this price.
