  33rd birthday wine at Noreetuh in NYC. I guess it will be harder and harder to find wines from my birth year as I get older ; ) This one was good, but maybe not great. The nose had an earthiness that leaned toward cooked vegetables and the palate was racy with hints of dried, concentrated red fruits and an umami savoriness that I really enjoyed. Very slight hints of spice and cocoa too. A very enjoyable wine for a special occasion but probably not something I'll seek out (or even ever see) again.
