On a night with a 2014 Barolo, a 2005 Bdx, this wine was the most tannic, most oaky of them all!
WOW, what a revelation.
Pop/Pour, and followed over 2+ hours. Initially oaky, butterscotch, with gripping tannins. it was amazing to experience in a white wine. Over time, more pear fruit came out, but the oak continued to be present.
A treat to try, and generously shared by Daimee. However this is built for the very long run. Holddddddd.

Saito. Feels sadly lightweight next to D'Auvenay village.
