  Medium gold, showing nice legs along the glass
  Medium plus nose with secondary and tertiary notes at the forefront: starts off with cream and lemon curd, then opens up to become more complex with notes of dried apple, smoke, honey and a hint of marzipan.
  On the palate it is still fresh with a good balance between body, acidity and alcohol. Nice minerality on the long finish.

  My last bottle of this vintage. Although there has been some bottle variation, this one was superb. Rich, smooth, balanced, interesting. Might have another couple years in it. Just don't drink it too cold.

  Notes from memory a day later... I do love good Fiano! The texture on this was wonderful, somewhat oily but unctuous. Medium+ acidity. Honeyed citrus and tropical fruit notes abound. Good minerality with some wet slate. Quite long on the finish. Excellent with my soft shell crab entree.
