Terroir-istes International - USA-Oregon-Willamette Pinot Noir (Bishopscourt): (Tasted Blind): Light cherry red with pretty aromas of spice, raspberry and loganberry more than strawberry, gentle spice with a touch of tinned cherry. Fairly intense, the palate entry is dry with a grippy tannins but ripe fruits sandwiched between. The tinned cherry components gathered some pastry notes, cherry cola and a sprinkle of spice. mid-weight, expressive and perhaps obvious, it finishes nicely without being too deep and demanding. 20% new French oak

Same as previous tasting, TIMES 10! Extreme, but it works... From 3/27: Had several of these, never noted the piercing green, herbal, anise, brambly nose. Flavorful, but thin and short. Delightful food wine.

The nose was a bit earthy/woody. The body was medium-light and acidity moderate. I couldn't really taste anything distinctive, maybe red berries but also sort of a weird band-aid type note that I could only pick up on the finish after "chewing" and aerating in my mouth.
I was going to give it an 80, but my last glass, after the bottle had been open for a couple of hours, was better and I was no longer picking up the band-aid note. Plus my wife liked it and her first glass was after it had been open a while.
