  Blackberry and leather on the nose with a hint of cardamom and blueberry at the end. Opened up well over 90 minutes in a decanter. Balanced acidity with dark fruit and soft tannins on the finish. Mike Hirby is a underrated star.

  A great syrah. Still young and fruit forward. Easily five more years.

  A fairly rich and dense Syrah with lots of ripe black fruit. A bit more sweet than I'd prefer but there is a lot going on with asphalt, smoke, meat and incense spice. Good structure to balance out the fruit.
