Wow, this was killer. Baked apple, limestone minerals, a hint of reduction with faint caramelization, truffles, apple skin. Good intensity excellent balance, and long finish. Age has just tweaked it to another level with good tertiaries. Drink now. If the 2003 was the Chablis, this was the Meursault.

Give it thirty minutes to open up and mild butterscotch and citrus come out. Oak is not subtle and the wine is fat and full in the mouth. After seven years, the wine is still tasting well.

Talamonti Munich Petra -- Nice as always, juicy and honeyed, with butterscotch and balance.
