Golden in color. 14.5% ABV. Fantastic nose of tropical fruits, pear and honeysuckle. Full bodied with tremendous acidity. Rich, plush and incredibly supple. Lemon oil, butterscotch, apple and minerals on the palate. The finish is exceptionally long and seamless. Just a gorgeous Chardonnay. There is no question that Dehlinger made their name with Pinot Noir but if you are on the mailing list do yourself a favor and add a Cabernet and Chardonnay into your allocation. Best over the next several years.

Drank with sweet fresh Bodega Bay crab, splendid. The oak is subdued now. Serving with less chill was rewarded. Nose of honeysuckle, apricot, fresh dough (Kelli says yeast). Sexy golden fruit with a slightly sweet entry then beautiful balance as the acidity takes over and rolls out to a long and slightly tangy citrus finish. Yes. This has lots of time left if you like. But I don’t need (or presume) better than this.

Lightly chilled with a quick decant. Unfiltered but not obnoxiously powerful or full bodied. Citrus aromatics giving way to grilled pineapple, lemon zest and orange peel on the palate with a little bit of spice. No notable oak for me which makes me think this has entered its prime drinking window.

On the nose lemon, praline, butter along with some yeasty notes. Palate has bright fresh acidity and a round creaminess from the malo with the flavors to match the nose. A bigger Chardonnay that’s well made and highly satisfying!

N: Stinky cheese when 1st poured, though by sometime over ≈the next 45 mins that had QUITE blown off to limes with notes of toast, poss vanilla?
P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish oak/frt deftly counterbalanced by an acidity which keeps things in check as it evolves into a LONG, BALANCED finish with an elegant tangy/swtness. For now & through '21, I'd guess. My EXC; 93 pts Vinous (Galloni) & 90 WS. [Check with this vendor to find their COMPETITIVE price.]
