We use this whenever a recipe calls for a dry white wine and stock for general white wine consumption. This is very pleasant when appropriately chilled. As noted by another, we initially purchased due to memories of our visit to Orvietto and the Cathedral prictured on the lable. You can't beat the price for a great everyday white. We have been drinking this wine since the 1998 vintage and it remains a dependable stock item. Give it a try, it won't disappoint. At this price, it would be very hard to!

Bought due to fond memories from visiting Orvieto, and it was only $7. Had basically zero expectations that this would actually be good, but figured we could always use for cooking. However, we were very pleasantly surprised!
Grassy/sage nose at first, and a buttery apple taste. Also got a lemony note. Nice, fun little wine.

A steely lemon-lime nose. The palate has a nice beginning and middle, but the finish has a metallic tinge that is offputting. Bright melon and lemony fig flavors. Enjoyable.

Lively, fresh acidity and citrus. Pleasant finish with some almond/nutmeg traces. Yum! To be drunk on hot days by the pool or at a picknick.

Terrible petroleum nose. Sweet. Some lemony acidity but hard to get pass the nose and the sugar. Pazzzzz
