  • Steely, acidic, big and bright Riesling. Classic petrol and citrus with tropical fruit. Bone dry. Needs to be a bit warmer than fridge temperature to have the acidity be in balance. Nice stuff.

  • Very similar to my experience back in July 2018. Taut, lean, and refreshing with the telltale “petrol” note in the aroma profile. High acidity, very good complexity with a broad range of zesty, sour, and tart green fruits; ending with a long mouth watering finish. Even showed some initial spritz in both the chilling decanter and the glass. Made in a style which I personally like. Seems to be in a great place; might drink well for another 1-2 years.

  • Final of 6 bottles, see previous TN. Delicious with chicken zatar.

  • We really enjoyed this wine. Quite dry and zippy. Would stand up to just about any food - certainly held its own with New Mexico beef chili. I will try to go slowly through the half case we have in order to see if there is any further development. But great for the price!

  • A fierce, intense Austrian riesling, and an incredible value even at the more than 26USD this can apparently be found for stateside. Rushes and rushes of saline and limestone mineral, bracing acidity (some effervescence especially in the final glass), and pristine flavors of soft lemons and limes and green apples, rounded oh so slightly by riesling rubber-petrol. Unrelenting and full in the mouth, perpetually giving of its mineral refreshment. Over two nights, an outstanding bottle. Will acquire and age another if I can.

[Rieslings with Asian: Really? #5. Chinese sauté of pork and vegetables in brown sauce. Splendid pairing, but with this what wouldn’t be? Perfectly willing all the same to finally chalk in a definite win here for Riesling.]
