Simply delicious! Freshly picked blackberry and lavender notes on the nose and savory palate with refreshing acidity and juicy tannins on the moderate long finish. Paired beautifully with burgers off the Big Green Egg!

Really kind of shocking amounts of acidity left - delicious dark, varietally correct spicy fruit, and lots and lots of structure left, both in sneaky almost hiding tannins and vibrant acidity.

Medium bodied, modern style. Good vibrancy of nose with flowers and red berries, and palate brings bright berries, olive tapenade, red brick dust, and a savory med finish. Well made but suffers from being generic - why does it cost so much compared to other fine CA Syrahs? Pricing heads towards Kongsgaard Hudson territory, but not surpassing $45-55 bottles such as Ramey Rodgers Creek or Lagier Meredith.

Sorry no tasting notes, but a fair rating of 90. Just not the PAX of our fave earlier pre-2010 era.
