  Very fresh and so clean. Ecu is definitely one of the great natural wine producers at the Loire and overall.

  Et ben voilà, fallait être patient!
  Bien carafé, mephisto avait des allures de cabernet bourguignon, une belle rondeur douce, tactilement nantie de très fins tanins et d’une belle poigne acidulée (le tout s’harmonisant vraiment à l’aération); l’aromatique par delà la cerise et la vieille fraise, offraient de belles senteurs végétales propre au CF, sous-bois et mousse de chêne, poivron subtil, épices, poivre et vieux livre. Et quelle énergie minerale! Ce petit coup de fouet revigorant de la finale était sublime (l’amphore sans doute).

  Superbe! Aromatique gourmande, complexe et delicate sur la fraise ecrasée et les fleurs, qq epices, un peu de sous-bois, c’est très appétent rien qu’au nez (et même à l’oeil avec ce grenat clair, au reflets brillants); la bouche est fluide, fraiche, en rondeur, ça glisse tout seul Sans pour antant etre leger ou acqueux: le nature comme je l’aime! Droit et pur! Bravo…

  Wine Tasting Group - Cabernet Sauvignon & its Parents (Classic Wine Storage, Dallas, TX): Deep and concentrated aromas with a hint of brett on the nose to start followed by more prominent ripe blackberries, plums, and mild green peppers. Nice and dense ripe black cherries and blackberries on palate with minerals, herbs and green peppers. Dense flavors and mouthfeel with some mild brett on the finish. Continues with my impression that red wines raised in amphora give a very dense mouthfeel and flavors. Liked this but feels very primary and even unformed (?). Will be very interesting to have an aged example, say 10-15 years old.
