  • Decanted at the restaurant, starts shy, some strawberry and cigar. With air open up beautifully, strawberry, raisin, cigar, ash and tar. The palate is silky and tannins mostly resolved. Rustic yet complex nose, sort of the high end country wine. The nose remained expressive and got better. I got jammy red fruit a la Ridge zinfandel and tar and rose of old school Barolo.
