Over the years, Dutton-Goldfield's Rued Chard has always been their best, flagship white. This 2014 was no exception. Going against my note from 2018 on this wine - I now believe there are several more years ahead for this vintage, suggesting 2024.

Disappointing. This is still a good wine, but past vintages have been great. A tasting note of mine on June '19 was 94 points. So, I won't chalk up this lesser showing to this wine's age. Bottle variation?
Shy nose of white flowers, lemon, apple; light to med. body and flavors of lemon, apple. Overall nice, but nothing like past vintages I've had.

Vibrant, full fruit, balanced with acidity. Notes of apple, pear, lemon curd. Refreshing.
