Should you be interested, I’ve uploaded info for this vintage which you can peruse at your leisure. 😉
Private Preserve used after Day 1.
N: Butter (but with restraint), hints of lemon (a relative noted cat pee?), pineapple as it warms
P: Rndish entry; MF body with NICE, almost swtish OAK/frt met by bracing acidity as it SEAMLESSLY evolves into a very LONG, BALANCED, elegant, tangy/sweet finish with 1 relative detecting a minerality. While adequate with the night's Rotisserie Chicken, I found it better solo (though a function of my slowly recovering palate?!?) Also, better cooler than warmer, the latter seeming to emphasize the alcohol at the expense of the frt. 🤔
// Day 2: Aromas of creamy pineapple with hints of lemon; Less frt on the palate, but within reasonable expectations for the 2nd day. However, somewhat surprisingly I found it better with mixed MX fare than by itself!
∑: My EXC-/EXC (90-93/100 using that paradigm), though relatives would NOT go that high. Also, unless paired > adroitly than I've been able to, I'd advocate consuming it by the end of '22. 14.5% ABV
Note: My 3rd taste of this

Notes of lemon, apple and uncooked bread dough. The level of acidity was high. After about 30 minutes, that subsided and the wine was in perfect balance. Good depth and texture. I believe this wine will continue to evolve nicely over the next three to five years. Maybe not to the level of the 2010 or 2013, but still good juice.

Very nice chardonnay. Pear, melon and a little citrus. Served with sushi on my patio on a nice Monday night in NJ.

Big and rich and full bore right now, and while it has goodly acid (and may be acidified at that), its time to drink up.
