  Uvas provenientes de un viñedo plantado en 1923 y crianza de 12 meses en barricas de roble francés.
  
  Fui a visitar la bodega Achaval Ferrer que actualmente funciona en la antigua bodega Melipal y me terminé comprando varias botellas de este vino que había desaparecido de mi radar.
  
  Por lo que me dijeron ahí, este vino no se va a hacer más y este viñedo de va a usar para vinos de Achaval Ferrer.
  
  El vino es una bomba! 💣 Mucha fruta roja y negra, gran concentración, notas pirazínicas y especiadas que en una degustación a ciegas me harían dudar si no estoy ante un cabernet...
  
  En boca tiene taninos dulces, buena estructura, excelente acidez y algo de astringencia. Se puede tomar ahora o guardar por varios años. Me encantó! 😍👏

  Tasted at large walkaround tasting. Simple and jammy. Easy to drink, but not much of interest here.

  Not as good as expected for this Cabernet Sauvignon. Lacking of cab aroma of blackcurrant & alike. Tobacco on the background. However, the flavour makes up the shortfall of the aroma to an extend.
