  • A famous hill. A very ambicious producer.
The six years of maturity developed the wine with the footprint of the grape and the shist-terroir.
Expressiv Nose with a lot of stony mineral spices.
Typical hallmark of the Saar river.
Deep expression, only little fruit more light tropical honeydew melon, light green apple touch and integrated fine petrol tone.
Lot of Finesse and rather slim palate.
A good length with the fine vibrating lemon finish
shows impressively its a fine terroir wine.

  • No TN on CT for this wine so far? A bottle from one of the very famous vineyards for Riesling in Germany? Looking at the label I am a little confused, Van V. has changed the labels, no 1 or three grapes on the label for the GG or GC (like the Burgundy classification) status of this bottle , as like their other wines Van V. do not make their wines alcoholic, always with a very moderate ABV, this time 12%, a fine nose, fruity, some apricote, maybe mango, slate, a mouthful of stonefruit, showing the soil of this vinyard, slate all over the palate, very good texture, in the background the mouthcleaning acidity, a very digestible bottle, can be easily enjoyed now, but will benefit from a decade++ in the cellar to show a lot more complexity, **(**), 89- 92++
