Stored this in a perfectly controlled wine cellar for 3 yrs. I panicked and pulled it out because Cellar Tracker said drink by 2021 and we had to make riom for more wine. Honestly, this could layed down another year as it was wonderful! Ate it with a grilled steak and grilled squash. Definetely tasted the blueberry and noted some blackberry in it. I have another bottle and will sit on it for at least six months!

PnP via Vinturi. Nose initially very faint, floral / violet with some dark berry fruit. Palate initially a bit watery in the mid-palate. Nose and palate opened up over the next two hours, not really changing character except that the mid-palate filled in. Spicy, well balanced, medium fine tannins, supple fruit. Quite restrained for a Syrah. If I had another, I'd decant an hour or three before drinking.

This deep, dark brooding inky purple Syrah has earthy tones with violets, bacon, fennel, and graphite. Deep blue fruits of plum and blueberry compote with Christmas spice and roast beets.
