This wine has finally transitioned in a good way. The harsh, rough edges on the palette have smoothed out. The overt oak has also mellowed a bit. Still plenty of fruit A bit one dimensional but significantly better with significant cellar time.
Still tasty on the 2nd evening also.

Dark red color. Drank a glass over 20 minutes. Dark berry, cocoa, French oak toast, medium body, some underbrush, approachable tannins. This is fairly good, it could use more time for the oak to integrate more.
