  • Very good vintage of this wine at its peak. On the nose, aromas of white flowers & yellow fruits dominate. In the mouth the wine is imposant with nuances of salted butter without feeling like a heavy weight. I have been often disappointed with northern white Rhones recently but this is a killer wine.

  • After the Quarz '16, the Bernard Bourgogne blanc '15 at the boat trip with Ger-Jan & Fien, this third, lovely white showed the Marsanne (mainly)/Roussanne mix in a very good way; not too low in acidity, so with a certain freshness and broad, some fat and lots of lowers. With aeration there came some cocoa in the finish. Well balanced, but please wait at least a year before really enjoying this wine.
