Far Niente dinner at Boulder. This was served with passed hors d'oeuvres. Seemed fairly simple with green apple and an almost NZ Sauvignon Blanc aspect of cut grass/grapefruit. I had to check the bottle to see if they were pouring something else.

Not for you intellectuals but if you want to turn the stereo up loud on a hot day then here it is. All the right traits, to keep you up late, it's all about that place ... Russian river chardonnay.

Consumed over 2 days, (vacuvined) note from day two. Nose: Medium expressiveness, wet stone, lemon butter, green apple, and pear. Palate: Medium-full bodied, creamy mouth-feel, exceptional balance, acid driven mid-palate lift, green apple and pear flavors persist thru the mid-palate balancing the acidic lift. Finish: Medium-plus length dominated by minerals, apple, pear, and lemon butter. Very consistent from front to back while not super complex, far from one dimensional - superb.

Yeah FIRST. Lean and Chablis-like. Green apple and pear en la nez. Peut-etre pomme vert and hints of oak, vanile. The acid is palette cleansing. With time this may integrate. Now it is palate cleansing and good with a sauced fish or chicken dinner. I wouldn't sit down and drink it, its bitterness would predominate.
