This wine is still holding up well due to ample acidity, minerality, and stone fruit. Got a slight vegetal note at one point. In the absence of that, I may have rated this wine higher.

From memory. Off the list at Boulevardier. Chalk, wet wool, prominent minerals, some herbs and citrus fruit in the background. The wine is more about minerals and body rather than the fruit. Nice body and acids made this wine very flexible. Went well with everything from Northeastern raw oysters to cassoulet with duck confit.

Nice, provocative nose of pear, flowers, lemon, and barrel spice. The palate unfortunately falls short with a weakness that evades the tongue, like water on a windshield.

Color : a pale golden Weight: a light body Aroma: crisp apples and pears with a nice touch of minerality and a bit of richness to the aroma.
Taste: a nice measure of acidity on the tip of the tongue with a mineral finish. There's the taste of crisp green apples and crunchy ripe pears. There's a solid 10-15 second finish that makes for a tidy crisp chenin Blanc.

Piercing tangy fruit and vegetal notes on the bouquet and finish. Pleasantly lean, with noticeable tension. Zingy finish. 89-90.
