This wine has only gotten better over the years. Aromas of lavender, blackberry and black cherry. A very complex wine with tasty minerality and tons of black fruit, licorice and dark chocolate. Silky tannins and a 15-second finish.

Never disappoints. Decanted for 2 hours and it opened up nicely over the course of dinner. Bold black cherry and licorice with mocha and grippy tannins that lead to a mineral-laced 20-second finish.

Sad that this was my last 2010 Herold by Mark Herold. Well-integrated with blackberry, plum, currant and dark chocolate flavors. This is a powerful Napa cab that has firm tannins and a 20-second finish.
