Three out of Five Ain't Bad (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Very small pour at the end of the night. Light gold color. This is more open and ready than the Folatieres at the moment and just a small step down. Still, nice citrus and good mineral notes to go with the toasted oak and medium body. 90+pts.

13% abv balanced by tangy med+ acidity and concentrated ripe fruit. Long length of finish and finesse. Touch (25 - 30 %) new French oak gives some structure and aromas/flavors of vanilla.

100% Chardonnay. Robe jaune clair aux reflets brillants. Nez de zeste de citron et abricot bien mur. Bouche étonnamment en largeur pour une cuvée village. Notes d'agrumes, pomme délicieuse sur une pointe délicate de chêne. Belle longueur.

Minerally-stony, light dry peach, gunflint. Like this. Better once it warms and opens up a bit from cellar temperature.
