The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon hail from the Upper Galilee, were aged in French oak for 14 months and clocks in at 14% ABV. Appearance was deep ruby with medium viscosity. Immediately upon opening the nose is dried fruit and jammy, but after a while it evolves to a more traditional cabernet nose. Black cherry, sugar plum, anise, menthol, graphite, leather, and vanilla. Very nice. Rich, bold, opulent and extracted; definitely fruit forward, but not overly so. Good acidity and lots of tannins. Black currant, blackberry, black olive, black tea, loam, black pepper, smoke, and dill. Long, bitter tannic finish. Definitely one of the better Israeli cabernet’s, and this one is well made, but not quite on the level of the many excellent Kosher offerings from California.

Fantastic, everything I love about the flam cs. 2010>11>14, but markedly better than the 12 and 13.

Black fruits, black pepper and vanilla oak on the nose.
Palate displays ripe and juicy fruit which fills nicely the mid palate with a nice richness.
