  • Purple-black color. Very concentrated, black-ripe fruits, sweetness and alcohol in the nose. To my taste it was over-concentrated. Full bodied, sweetness in the palate, round. Less elegant than the '08 I tasted last month. Drink now.

  • Black-ruby in color, lost of jammy fruit on the nose with some dried herbs and olives. Seemed a little too sweet at first, but later carried the fruit and alcohol quite nicely. Highly extracted without being confected, but a streak of green bell peppers made ruined an otherwise rather good impression. Overall this feels a little overdone - over-ripe, over-oaked and a tad over extracted, though a pleasant wine nonetheless.

  • Excellent harvest. Full body, deep garnet red color, aromatic, black fruits, vanilla, oak notes and floral aroma, cherry pozzy, ripe plums, herbs, sweet wood and dark chocolate on the palate, chocolate bitterness on finish, long finish, powerful, rich, slightly dis-balanced, thin acidity, sweet over ripen tannins. Best match to meat or not dominant cheeses. Open about two hour in advance. Serve 18º - 22º. Drink now and next couple years.
