So good. Not a zin fan because they are usually too jammy and big. This was medium body with some secondary flavors emerging. Toasty, briary, restrained. High quality.

I really like this. If this is an off vintage for this vineyard (per WE score), I will definitely seek out the other years. Luscious juicy cherry and berry flavors, not too dry but not a bomb either, a touch of savory, hints of baking spice and vanilla, and the classic briary (look it up and you'll see what I mean), peppery, minerally midpalate and finish that I'm coming to love in good zins. Perfect tannins for balance - a nicely harmonious wine. Good pop and pour, but really rocking after a few hours in the glass on Day 2. Give it time.

A really nice, not too jammy Zin. Needs at least an hour in the decanter to show-off its best.
