Rich, dark and smooth as others have noted. I, too, could easily have thought this was a cooler climate Syrah or Zin (Central Coast), but was very enjoyable with steak fajitas et al. This isn't as much of a fruit and alcohol bomb as other Michael David wines (which sometimes is OK), but this wine is enjoyable due to that fact. Drinking quite well now, don't see aging potential.

Quite dark, rich and smooth - typical MD wine, but seems uncharacteristically big and rich for a PS. You’d think it was a regular Syrah or even a Zin.

It’s an ok wine for the price. Lacks complexity and was pretty one dimensional. Which was kind of expected. All in all, still a very drinkable wine.
