Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of toast, vanilla and apple pie. Flavors of lemon and creme fraîche. Bright acidity, almost tannic feeling in the mouth from the oak treatment, full bodied. Drink with air or hold.
Perplexing wine. Can't really make it out nor pin it down.
My guess was this is New World, Australia, Chardonnay, 2015 Clarendon Hills.
Well, at least I got New World right.
